Still Pinching Myself… Chasing Clarity is Heading to Nashville!

There are moments in life that don’t quite feel real, and this is definitely one of them.

I’m so excited (and honestly still a little overwhelmed!) to share that my album, Chasing Clarity, has been nominated for Country Music Album of the Year at the 2026 Josie Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee.

When I started writing these songs, I never imagined they would one day take me all the way back to Music City.

Chasing Clarity is more than just an album to me. It’s a collection of stories from different chapters of my life—moments of heartbreak, healing, hope, resilience, and finding the courage to keep moving forward. Every lyric comes from a real place, and every song represents a piece of my journey.

To know that this body of work has been recognised on an international stage is something I will never take for granted.

This nomination isn’t mine alone. It belongs to everyone who helped bring these songs to life. I’m incredibly grateful to my producer, Michael Carpenter, whose vision and talent helped shape this album into something I’m immensely proud of. To the musicians, radio presenters, media supporters, venues, friends, family, and every person who has streamed a song, bought the album, come to a show, or sent me a message telling me what the music has meant to them—thank you. You’ve all been part of this journey. And of course, Michael Saleta my co-writer and all of the other collaborators on this album. Some of my cowriters on this album are from Nashville too, super special.

In September, I’ll be packing my bags and heading to Nashville to attend the Josie Music Awards. Just writing those words gives me goosebumps.

No matter what happens on awards night, being nominated is already a dream come true. To be recognised alongside so many talented artists from around the world is an honour I’ll cherish forever.

Music has a wonderful way of connecting us. It reminds us we’re not alone, helps us celebrate the highs, navigate the lows, and sometimes gives us exactly the words we couldn’t find ourselves. If Chasing Clarity has done that for even one person, then it’s already achieved everything I could have hoped for.

Thank you for believing in me, for following this journey, and for continuing to support independent Australian country music. I can’t wait to share this next chapter with you.
